View from Castle Hill

There's no castle on Castle Hill, but there is a fantastic view of the Mediterranean Sea.
These cabochons are very obviously dichroic: teal green when viewed straight on and deep blue when viewed from the side. I played up the greens in this piece, using smooth and faceted peridot beads in the embroidery along with gold-filled beads and Swarovski crystals.
I even broke out the super-duper magnifying glass and a few size 15 charlottes!
The pendant measures 2 1/2 inches from the lowest to highest point, and 4 1/2 inches wide. The total length is 22 inches.
